In women, breast size may change due to structural reasons, pregnancy and breastfeeding period. This situation disturbs many of our patients. Depending on the body structure, large breasts can cause a hunchbacked appearance and lots of physical problems, such as neck and lower back pain. The aim of breast reduction operations is to create the desired appearance by considering the patient’s wishes and body structure.
Breast reduction surgery Period
It seems appropriate to stay in the hospital for one day after the operation. Dressing is changed on the 3rd day and it is recommended to remove the bandages and wear a chest corset. The healing process takes 3-4 weeks.
